Brunswick County, Virginia (Map It) was created in December 17, 1720 from Prince George County, Parts of Isle of Wight County and Surry County were added in 1732. The Brunswick County record dates below are from the earliest date to present time. They may include records of land, estates, taxes, vital records, divorces, naturalizations, voter registration, military discharges and court records. Authorized in 1720 but the government was not formed until 1732. The first pages of a number of early record books damaged by time.
