Bexar County
I have 30+ years of genealogy research experience and work as a volunteer in the Genealogy department of San Antonio’s Central Library. I can lookup all things San Antonio & Bexar County from the library, catalog mysapl.org. Some types of records include city directories, Spanish Missions vital records, cemeteries (please specify), naturalization through 1906, San Fernando Cathedral records, marriages 1837-66, voter 1867-9, church records (please specify), newspaper articles, Canary Islanders, Spanish Archives, deeds, books, periodicals, etc. I cannot lookup records that are not presently indexed.

The San Antonio Library has a very extensive collection of Bexar County records and “Texana” records covering all of Texas from the Colonial period to the present day. I can make copies of book pages or microfilm and there is a charge of 40 cents per page. I do not have a scanner and will have to mail the documents to you so there will be an additional cost for postage. I usually have a long list of people I am helping but I will get to yours as fast as I can. Please make your request extremely specific — you can review the holdings at mysapl.org.

    Hi Terri,

I was just wondering if you could look for my Great Uncles brothers death certificate? He died in San Antonio.
If so, I would give you his information.
