I do obituary lookups in Florida newspapers (dates vary). You MUST know the name, date of death and location. I ask only reimbursement of my copy expenses which are currently $2 per page, plus postage.

I have access to several large Florida newspapers on microfilm as well as several smaller papers. Dates of these papers vary so feel free to inquire and I will provide you with the information on papers that are available for the area/time frame you need.

I sent Colleen a request and she contacted me immediately letting me know cost and timeline to expect. Thank you for that. Very responsive to requests.

    Hello, Colleen,
I sent a request to you yesterday. This is the first time I have tried to use RAGC. The site said I would get an e-mail confirming that my message had been sent. I have not gotten that confirmation, I verified that my e-mail address is correct. So I will repeat my request and hope that this time I get the confirmation so I know that my request is reaching you.
My relative, Ida A Lindner’s obituary appeared in The Miami Herald, 12 April 1989. An electronic copy is acceptable, or paper if that option is not possible. Please let me know the next step. Thanks, DeWitt

My mama always said< "The reward for a good job is more work." Your obits helped me/us a lot! I was able to make contact with a Manning "cousin" in Clinton, Iowa who was the son of the 2 people you got information on. He was an only child of his parents, who divorced when he was young. His mother died when he was a teen & his father remarried – the family was not close. Now he has grown children with an interest in their "roots" THANKS to YOUR HELP, "we" have connected him to his roots!!

Another "mysterious" man related to the same Manning family was:
John L Mayo b 21 Aug 1927 I think in Birmingham, AL – I think his middle name was "Lamar"
I am hoping the following OBIT for him will help me identify his wife and/or child/children.

    "JOHN L. MAYO"
died 15 Apr 1993 Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida.

An elderly cousin told me she thought he had a daughter who lived in New Orleans; she also said she thought he was buried in a mausoleum in Pensacola.

    Have a wonderful Christmas!
