Georgia Map Collections

The Georgia Archives is also home to a large collection of detailed county and state maps. The collection contains over 30,000 maps. The Map Room at the Georgia Department of Transportation offers modern city and county maps.

The Georgia D.O.T. Highway Department has prepared a series of 2016 county road maps free online. These Georgia road maps contain more detailed information about man-made features than the geological survey maps.

In addition to roads and boundaries, these maps include rural communities, churches, and cemeteries. These Georgia maps are Free to downloade are in PDF format.
