Its Your Lucky Day

Well, at least for reading this newsletter. It won't be very long this 
month. I know all of you wait with anticipation to receive this once 
a month newsletter, trouble is I wait with anticipation to see if can 
figure out what to write.  This month is no exception.


Announcements

The site has been entered into a "Site of the Year" contest, sponsored 
by Genealogical Journeys In Time. At the bottom of every page on the 
Random Acts site there is a graphic pertaining to this "contest." If 
each and everyone of you would go to one of the RAOGK pages and click 
on that link, that will register as a vote. At the time of this writing 
the top site has only 66 votes (The Bible Family). I am sure we can 
surpass that number and leave everyone in our dust. So please go vote.


A Great Big Thank You

Again the volunteers of this site have helped us stay online another 
month.  Seems like we are going from month to month recently, hopefully 
the future looks brighter for us as the contributions have really helped. 
We still need your help for at least one more month, if you can see

Volunteer Stats

We have 4459 volunteers. In September we welcomed 118 new volunteers 
to the site, while 124 left for various reasons, and 40 volunteers 
were removed from the project by staff (e-mail bouncing and being 
non-responsive to requests).

If you have a topic that you would like covered in these newsletters, 
feel free to write to raogk@raogk.org with them. We will try our best 
to include them in one of the future newsletters. Please do NOT hit 
your 'reply-to' button with this newsletter, as it only gets sent to 
a dead-letter area on the server.
