Volunteer Research Description

Using tools such as ancestry.com, geni.com, and other web-based research sites in conjunction with local libraries and the archives located at the McClung Museum in Knoxville, I will search out any family having had a residency at any time in the Appalachian area, as far back as possible. (In some cases this has gone back into the 1200's.)

Michael did a tremendous job with my lineage. I asked him to trace my father's family as far back as we go and he not only did that, he provided so much documentation supporting his findings that he actually organized it all into a short booklet just laying out my family. It was 66 pages of photos of graves, documents, land grants, baptismal records, census records, and so much stuff I could have never found on my own. He even found published writings about my family that I didn't know existed at the McClung library. Absolutely great! 10/10 recommend.
